Far de Capdepera

The Far de Capdepera is a lighthouse on the northeast coast of the Spanish mediterranean island of Mallorca. He is one of five still operating lighthouses of Majorca. There also also 10 non-operating lighthouses on Majorca.
The lighthouse, built by the Spanish engineer Emili Pou y Bonet, is located near the easternmost point of the island and is part of the territory of the municipality of Capdepera.The tower stands on the Punta de Capdepera on an approximately 55 meters above the sea level rising hill and has a height of 21 meters. Its beacon is located in 76 meters above sea level and has a range of 21 nautical miles.
