Ermita de Bonany

The monastery Ermita de Bonany is located on an 315 meter high mountain between Petra, Villafranca de Bonany and Sant Joan.
After a long period of drought in the 17th century, the inhabitants begged the Madonna of the Ermita de Bonany. A short time later, finally it rained enough and a good harvest could be retracted.
Since then, the monastery is called "Bonany", which means "good year".
From the Ermita one has a wonderful view over the island.
